Rainfire has lived in Hidden Valley, S of the town of Maricopa since 1996. She owns ten acres near where the proposed I-11 freeway is slated to be built. She has actively opposed the freeway and the way it is being put in her neighborhood by politicians for which she can not vote--namely the current and past mayors of Maricopa. All attempts to discuss and re-route the freeway along existing underused freeways has been met with polite disinterest and dismissal. |
